We are back for another year. Please allow me to welcome our bears back from last year and a welcome to our new cubs and their families.

Welcome to Blalack Middle School. We are ready to offer your child an education that surpasses your expectations. At Blalack we immerse our students in a rich environment of literature, mathematics and science and history. Be amazed with the talents that your students will reveal in Art, dramatic arts, choral singing, band or orchestra.

Lauren Hawke

My name is Lauren Hawke and I am very excited to be joining the Blalack family! As I step into this role, I am both honored and thrilled to become a part of this remarkable educational community.

I come to Blalack with a deep passion for fostering academic excellence, nurturing positive learning environments, and supporting the growth and development of both students and educators. I began my career teaching in Garland ISD. After my time there I taught dual language in Lewisville ISD. Most recently I was a Language Arts and Social Studies facilitator for Lewisville ISD.

I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Health Studies from Texas Woman’s University. Additionally, I received my Master’s in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M Commerce. I am currently pursuing my doctorate in Educational Leadership from TAMUC.

Some of my hobbies include; running, reading, and spending time with my family. I am married to my wonderful husband, Michael. We have a 2 year old son, Asher, and a 4 year old Goldendoodle, Ace.
