Rebecca Beck

Hi, my name is Rebecca Beck, and I'm honored to return to Blalack Middle School as an Assistant Principal! This campus holds a special place in my heart, and I'm thrilled to rejoin the Blalack Bear family in this leadership role. My career in education began at Davis Elementary in CFBISD, where I taught 3rd and 5th grade before moving to Blalack Middle School, where I taught 6th–8th grade AVID, Tech Apps, and Business Information Management, supported campus technology, and helped lead our 8th-grade New York trips. After earning my master's, I served in a district technology leadership role with Dallas ISD, but soon returned home to CFBISD, where I taught 8th grade at Perry Middle School. For the past four years, I've worked at the district level, leading College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) programs for students K–12, and most recently served as Interim Assistant Principal at Rosemeade Elementary. This year marks my 27th year in education, and I'm as passionate as ever about helping students discover their strengths, build confidence, and prepare for success — whether that leads to college, a career, or military service. Outside of school, I'm a proud mom to a Hebron High School graduate who's off to North Central Texas College to study accounting. I also have two spoiled pups, Rocky and Lacy, and a wonderful fiancé — fun fact: we met way back in middle school! In my free time, I enjoy playing pickleball and spending time with family and friends. I'm thrilled to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new students, families, and staff as we begin what's sure to be an amazing year together. It's always a great day to be a Bear!
